HEPATITIS

  • Commemorating World Hepatitis Awareness Day –Awareness Rally, Sensitization,  , Jamborees, Conducting free Hepatitis B&C Screening to over 400 participates, distributions of free leaflet, stickers and a lot of other activities in Lafia, Nasarawa State. 28th July, 2012.

  •  Commemorating World Hepatitis Awareness Day –Awareness Rally, Jamborees, Sensitization, Administering Hepatitis B Vaccines, free Medical Assistance from BYM Volunteer Medical Doctors/Medical Laboratory Scientist, Pharmacist and Conducting free Hepatitis B&C Screening to over 250 participates, in Otukpo LGA, Benue State. Distributions of leaflet, and a lot of other activities in Lafia, Nasarawa State. 28th July, 2013.

  • Conducted awareness, free Hepatitis B&C screening to 120 participates and vaccines administration to 70 non reactive clients. 22nd December, 2013.

  • Commemorating World Hepatitis Day 28th July, 2014 in Lafia, Nasarawa State where 700 people benefitted from free Hepatitis B and C test/vaccination in Central Mosque and E.R.C.C No 2 Bukan Sidi.

  • Carried out a Massive awareness campaign to commemorate World Hepatitis Day, 2014 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

  • Power Point Presentation on Viral Hepatitis, conducted free Hepatitis B and C Test, Hepatitis B vaccination and HCT to over 190 among NYSC Corp Members, 3rd April, 2014

  • Carried out Free Hepatitis testing/hepatitis B vaccination to over 5,000 uniform service men January 2015-date.

HIV/AIDS

  • Commemorating World HIV/AIDS Day - Awareness rally, sensitization on HIV, sharing of male/female condoms to over 1000 people in Lafia. 1st December, 2011.  

  • Sensitization/Awareness of general

  • Community outreach in Partnership with Pharmaceutical Student’s University of Jos at Ningo Community, Akwanga, Nasarawa State – Education on Hepatitis, Free Hepatitis B&C Screening, Free HCT Screening, Free drugs distributed to over 1500 participates. 26 April, 2013.

  • Carryout community outreach in Partnership with ECWA Youth at Angwan Mission, Nasarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State – Carried out free Hepatitis B&C, HCT to over 135 participate. 23rd March, 2013.

  • Carried out Interpersonal Communication on HIV to secondary schools Students in Lafia , Nasarawa Eggon, Awe.

  • Carried out HCT among antenatal women at Awe LGA in partnership with FHI 360

  • Carried out HCT to 80 participates in Awonge Village, Lafia North, Nasarawa State. 6th December, 2013.

  • Sensitizing Corp Members on HIV/AIDS and free HCT 13TH May, 2013.

  • Secondary Schools Awareness Programmes on Reproductive Health, HIV and Hepatitis to Divine Academy Bukan Sidi, Government Secondary School Bukan Sidi and Ebuko International College, Bukan Sidi Lafia, Nasarawa State. 17th February, 2014 – Date.

  • Mobile HCT to over 250 Pupils in the aforementioned selected secondary schools in Bukan Sidi, Lafia, Nasarawa State 10th April – 27th May, 2014.

  • Interpersonal Communication (IPC Sessions), condom distribution/demonstration and free HCT in football pitch among 130 footballers in Bukan Sidi, Lafia Nasarawa State 7th April, 2014 – Date

  • Commemorated World AIDS Day 2014, (free HIV and Malaria test to over 1000 beneficiaries/ awareness rally  and free distribution of male and female condoms at Lafia and Nasarawa Eggon LGA, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.   

  • free HIV testing and counselling/condom distribution to over 2500 uniform service men

Awareness Rally on Malaria, sensitization, sanitation of stagnant waters and sharing of mosquito around residential buildings of Bukan Sidi, Lafia, Nasarawa State.  31st December, 2011.

OTHER PROJECT 

  • Presentation of educative drama on child labour in partnership with ICS/VSO. 30th October, 2013.

  • Carried out awareness rally on Child Right in partnership with ICS/VSO, Project Agape, Red Cross Society of Nigeria, Government Agency, and other development partners. 24th November, 2013.

ORPHANS

Visiting of Two Orphanage Homes (Maimuna Katai and Gidan Bege in Lafia, Nasarawa State) – Distributions of food items, educational items/writing materials, Sport Equipments, Nutritional Items, 20 Mosquito net, educating the community on the need to assist the orphans, Music presentation to the orphans.  2nd January, 2013.

DRUG ABUSE​

Carried sensitization on effects of drug abuse among the youth and community members of Aridi community, Lafia, Nasarawa State in Partnership with ICS/VSO. 22nd November, 2013.
